Sammy Movie Production was established in 2022 by Ekata Simon, a passionate filmmaker from Ugbegun in Esan Central LGA, Edo State. Initially part of the defunct Esan Chroniwood crew in 2021, Ekata transitioned from his role in welfare to producing his first Esan movie, ‘ASON’. This epic film served as a powerful entry into the filmmaking world, highlighting the untapped potential of Esan narratives.

Since then, Sammy Movie Production has become a prominent name in Nollywood, blending the richness of Esan culture with the dynamic world of Nigerian cinema. Our mission is to produce films that celebrate and preserve Esan heritage while contributing to the broader Nollywood industry.

One of our notable productions, ‘UMUZEZE (Fate of the Fearless)’, features a cast of Nollywood A-list stars and has received widespread acclaim for its portrayal of Esan culture. Our films, including ‘Echoes of Esan’, showcase our versatility and commitment to cultural preservation.

Our films are available on Sammy Nolly TV and select streaming platforms. Expanding our reach globally, we collaborate with international studios to bring Nollywood and Esan culture to a wider audience.
